A report by "Slidstvo.Info" revealed that Russian forces are using Changan Hunter pickup trucks as mobile launch platforms for "Geran"-type attack drones targeting civilian infrastructure in Ukraine. The Chinese automaker Changan Automobile has increased its exports since 2022, replacing Western brands.

The report notes that Changan Hunter pickups, modified by the Russian army into mobile launch platforms, are used to launch "Geran" drones at Ukrainian civilian infrastructure. This equipment has also been publicly displayed by Ramzan Kadyrov and propagandist Vladimir Solovyov.
