Russian special forces reportedly detained a family with a child in Ivanovo by mistake, based on unverified testimony from a suspect. According to Baza, the special forces were searching for accomplices in a theft case and entered the wrong address around 5 AM. The homeowner was reportedly knocked down and handcuffed, and his wife was hit against a doorframe. A young child in the house reportedly cried from fear during the incident.

The homeowner stated that after realizing their mistake, the officers simply left. The man and woman sustained bruises, and the child has reportedly begun stuttering and is now seeing a psychologist. The victims have filed a complaint with the prosecutor's office and plan to sue. The Investigative Committee for the Ivanovo region declined to comment to Baza.
