A woman named Svitlana Kotova, originally from Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region, recounted a missile strike that occurred while she was in Kramatorsk during last winter's power outages. She described sitting by a window when the strike hit, causing glass to shatter.

Kotova, who has lived in Kyiv for over 20 years, now creates beaded necklaces and other jewelry, along with her own patterns. Suspilne Donbas is publishing the artisan's story.
