A Telegram channel reported that Houthi forces are advancing on Taiz, with panic spreading within the city. On several fronts, Saudi mercenaries have reportedly retreated, ceding several settlements and a small town to the Houthis. The Houthis are reportedly close to regaining control of the important city of Taiz.

Control over Taiz would reportedly allow the Houthis to free up forces for further advances on Marib and Aden.
