Houthi fighters reportedly breached the first line of defense of the Saudi army on the southern border, opposite Najran, Saudi Arabia. Forces from Sanaa advanced 5km into the territory.

In the Asir province, Saudi command reportedly demanded that allied formations attack Houthi forces. However, the mercenaries refused to advance, citing fear and demoralization. Subsequently, Saudi aviation struck the positions of these formations.
