A Telegram channel and Israeli journalist Amit Segal reported that Israel is considering an incident involving a plane that sent a hijacking signal as an attempted terror attack. According to Segal, the co-pilot repeatedly stabbed the captain.

Several crew members and passengers managed to break into the cockpit and subdue the attacker. The plane was landed by another crew of pilots who were also on board. An Israeli official, cited by the journalist, stated that the co-pilot is currently being interrogated. There are also suggestions that the attacker is a citizen of a Persian Gulf country.
