A Telegram channel reported that Abu Baqr al-Sa'di was killed in Baghdad. The post referred to him as a "martyr commander" and a "maker of victory" who "always terrified the leaders of the occupation."

The post described the vehicle of the deceased, stating it was from Liberation Square in the center of the Iraqi capital. The language used suggests a high-value target who was a significant figure to the reporting group.
