A car reportedly exploded while in motion in Novomoskovsk, Tula Oblast, Russia, killing the driver, identified by Russian and independent media as Roman Syromiatnikov, a former employee of the Russian penitentiary system and participant in the war against Ukraine. The explosion occurred on the morning of October 2, on Druzhby Street.
