Reuters reported that five Russian drones fell in Moldova over 17 hours between October 15-16, injuring one person. The drones violated the country's airspace and fell mostly in northern and eastern areas, causing minor damage.

The Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that these incidents threaten citizen safety and demonstrate the direct consequences of Russia's war against Ukraine for regional stability.
