Pakistan has sent between 30,000 and 40,000 military personnel to Saudi Arabia to defend its land borders and intercept drones and rockets, Reuters reported. The troops reportedly arrived in several groups starting last year, including after recent escalations.

Islamabad has not yet made a decision on sending troops to Yemen to participate in combat operations.
