Two Russian oil refineries owned by Rosneft in Syzran and Saratov have halted oil processing following Ukrainian drone strikes, Reuters reported. The Syzran refinery suspended operations on Tuesday, September 15, while the Saratov plant stopped on Friday, September 11.

The Syzran refinery's main crude oil primary processing unit, with a capacity of 17,100 metric tons per day (71% of total capacity), was halted after the strikes. Repairs are expected to take at least a month. A second unit, with a capacity of 7,100 tons per day (29% of total capacity), is already under repair from a July drone attack. The Saratov refinery suspended processing after strikes on September 11, having previously halted operations on September 8 due to damage and fires from an earlier drone attack.
