Russian forces have destroyed or damaged more modern warehouses in the Kyiv region in the past two months than in the preceding four years of the full-scale war, according to a report. Before 2022, the capital region housed 2.2 million square meters of such facilities, representing 4.2 million square meters nationwide.

In late August, the Minister of Agrarian Policy, Taras Vysotskyi, stated that "90% of the logistics for food products of retail chains have been destroyed, conditionally speaking." However, Ruslan Shostak, founder of WINHUB logistics parks, urged caution with figures, suggesting the country lost half of its modern warehouses, not 90%, and predicted no deficit in Ukraine.
