A Telegram post, citing Politico, claims that Russia is destroying up to 40 Ukrainian Railways locomotives per month. Since the full-scale invasion, Russia has damaged or destroyed over 500 locomotives, with more than 60% of strikes occurring in the last eight months.

A new locomotive costs approximately €5 million.
