Russian forces reportedly launched a significant strike targeting Ukraine's energy sector, hitting over 15 critical electricity generation and transmission facilities, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The most challenging situations were reported in Lutsk, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Shepetivka, Slavuta, and Netyzhyn. Energy infrastructure in Kharkiv Oblast, Kyiv Oblast, Dnipro region, and other areas were also reportedly targeted.
President Zelensky also commented on a US decision regarding the Lindsey Graham law, stating that while Russia was conducting its large-scale energy attack, the US unfortunately decided to completely ignore the law, which he believes could have provided effective pressure on Russia to end the war.
