A Russian strike targeted Kyiv's railway infrastructure, resulting in the injury of a Ukrainian Railways employee. The attack, which occurred in the morning, also affected two gas stations, warehouses, and the capital's railway infrastructure. A fire broke out near the EU Representation building.

According to Oleksandr Kubrakov, head of Ukrainian Railways, the railway worker sustained shrapnel wounds while returning home after his shift and is currently hospitalized. The EU Representation emphasized that over 260 Ukrainian locomotives have been damaged as a result of attacks since 2026.
