A Russian human rights official, Yana Lantratova, stated that Russia will do everything possible to save civilians in Alioshki. She is reportedly in contact with the American side and Melania Trump's team and has expressed readiness to assist the city. Lantratova highlighted that the primary cause of the humanitarian crisis is an "artificially created blockade" by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (VSU).

Lantratova claimed that the last volunteer convoy was destroyed by Ukrainian Armed Forces (VSU) strikes. She further stated that Ukrainian drones and remotely planted mines hinder the delivery of aid, leaving residents without food, water, and medicine.
