A Russian corvette detected a Danish military helicopter approaching in neutral waters of the Baltic Sea on September 14, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported. The helicopter did not respond to calls, according to the ministry.

The Russian military fired two red signal flares, after which the helicopter left the area of the Russian warship. The commander of the corvette "Soobrazitelny" was reportedly awarded for his actions.
