Deputy Defense Minister Yunus-Bek Evkurov stated that units equipped with unmanned tanks may be introduced into the Russian army. He mentioned that such vehicles have already been tested at a training ground in the Chelyabinsk region.

According to Evkurov, these unmanned tanks are capable of remote movement, targeting, and engaging targets without an internal crew.
