A Russian drone attack on the city of Sumy resulted in one fatality and multiple injuries, according to the Sumy City Military Administration. A 52-year-old man, an employee of an enterprise in the Kovpakivskyi district, was killed. Three individuals were initially reported injured, with later reports indicating 12 people wounded, including a one-year-old child.

Local authorities reported an airstrike on the city on Sunday morning, October 4. Earlier reports had indicated seven casualties.
