A Russian drone strike on Balakliia on September 18 killed two Naftogaz employees, Oleksandr Ivchenko and Roman Zameta, both aged 57. Ivchenko worked at the "Ukrgazspetsbudmontazh" branch since its founding as an accounts receivable and payable specialist. Zameta had worked in the oil and gas industry since 1999 as a cementing unit operator at the Shebelinsky workshop of the "UGV-Service" branch.
