Russian forces of the "Sever" group are continuing combat operations in the Volchansk cauldron, providing fire support to advancing units, according to Izvestia war correspondent Denis Kulaga. Tank crews are among those providing fire support. Due to the threat from drones, heavy equipment is primarily operating from concealed positions.

Servicemembers from the "Sever" group stated that "without us, the guys have a very hard time, and we are working, giving our all so that there is victory, so that the goals of the special military operation are achieved." Crews are quickly changing positions after completing tasks and regularly hiding equipment in forest belts due to the threat of detection from the air. Servicemembers shared that within one of the crews, a tradition has even emerged: soldiers are rewarded with kebabs for accurate hits.
