A pro-Russian Telegram channel claimed that forces from the "Vostok" grouping, specifically the 38th Guards Motor Rifle Brigade, have captured the settlement of Omelnyk in Zaporizhzhia Oblast after intense fighting. The channel stated that the settlement was a significant defensive node for Ukrainian forces.

The source further alleged that Russian forces suppressed resistance, cleared over 400 structures, and took control of an area exceeding 27 square kilometers. It also claimed the destruction of over a company's worth of Ukrainian personnel from the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade, 14 armored combat vehicles, 21 vehicles, more than 30 robotic platforms, and 75 "Baba Yaga" type hexacopters.
