A Russian airstrike on Zaporizhzhia on October 10 killed a first-grader, Yelyzaveta Sorochyshyna, and an eighth-grader, Hanna Mur-Zak, according to the Department of Education and Science of the Zaporizhzhia City Council. On the Dnipropetrovsk region's Nikopol district, an 11-year-old boy was killed in a Russian attack.

Additionally, Russian forces dropped a munition from a drone in the Pokrovske community, wounding a 12-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl, according to the regional military administration. The post states that the occupying forces continue to terrorize civilians and kill children after failing to achieve success on the battlefield.
