A drone attack was repelled in the Nizhny Novgorod region on Friday night, resulting in the death of one serviceman, according to regional governor Gleb Nikitin. Forces from the Russian Ministry of Defense, Rosgvardia, and the "Bars-NN" unit reportedly thwarted the drone attack.

The governor stated that while debris caused minimal damage to infrastructure and no civilians were harmed, a serviceman from the "Bars-NN" unit died while on duty during the attack.
