Russian security forces reportedly conducted a search of journalist Svetlana Prokopyeva's apartment in Pskov, according to a report by Sever.Realii. Prokopyeva suggested the action may be linked to a case concerning the "discreditation" of the Russian army.

Prokopyeva previously faced a criminal case for justifying terrorism in 2019, resulting in a fine. She left Russia in 2022, was designated a "foreign agent" in June 2023, and was put on a wanted list in the summer of 2025. She was fined again in April 2026 for failing to comply with "foreign agent" duties.
