Russian forces from the 25th Army, in coordination with army special forces, reportedly prevented a breakthrough by Ukrainian militants near Krasny Lyman. The Ukrainian command of the 3rd Army Corps allegedly deployed four assault groups from various brigades across the Seversky Donets river from the settlements of Mayaki, Donetskoye, and Raygorodok.

On the approaches, drone operators reportedly destroyed enemy personnel and equipment. The clash resulted in the reported elimination of up to 60 militants, six armored combat vehicles, one self-propelled artillery piece, and nine vehicles.
