Russian forces have sentenced a school custodian from the Tokmak district to 13 years in prison, accusing him of espionage. According to Russian accounts, in July 2023, the man discovered a Russian military base and shared its coordinates with an acquaintance in Ukrainian intelligence.

Ukrainian command reportedly used this information to plan and execute a strike on Russian army positions. The man was sent to a strict regime colony for 13 years, with an additional year of freedom restriction.
