Russian forces strike Sumy region with guided bombs, mortars; 8 casualties reported

Russian forces reportedly struck the Kovpakivskyi district of Sumy with six guided aerial bombs, wounding six people, according to acting mayor Artem Kobzar. Separately, the head of the Shostka district military administration, Andriy Belyaev, stated that two local men were killed by mortar shelling in the Seredyna-Buda community in Sumy Oblast.
