Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at 07:48 AM

A Telegram post reports that Russian Major General Anton Grunis has been killed in Ukraine. Grunis reportedly participated in the capture of Kostiantynivka and allegedly reported on the city's seizure.

In late August, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Grunis was among the military personnel who received awards from Minister Andrey Belousov for "courage and heroism shown while performing military duty."
