A Russian major general, Sergey Nikitushkin, head of the training material base of the Main Combat Training Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces, has been charged with receiving a particularly large bribe, RBC reported, citing sources.

The case was initiated under Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, and the general faces up to 15 years in prison.
