A drone boat attack reportedly struck the Aframax Rio tanker, flagged by Liberia, off the coast of Sochi, Russia, leading to an open oil fire in the Black Sea. Twenty-three Indian nationals were rescued, with no initial reports of casualties, according to Russia's Ministry of Transport.
The intensity of the fire needs to decrease before firefighting efforts can begin, stated the ministry. In the nearby federal territory of Sirius, no excess pollutants were detected.
