A Russian missile attack on Kremenchuk on October 7 destroyed the home of Yuliia Ananenko, which she and her husband had built over six years. Ananenko, her husband, and their eight-year-old son were home during the strike but managed to evacuate before the house was completely consumed by fire.

The family lost all their belongings in the fire, which broke out after a Russian missile strike. They were able to escape the blaze before firefighters arrived.
