The Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) reported the formation of the Dobropillya pocket and the encirclement of remaining forces from two brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (VSU) and the 'Skala' assault regiment in the city. Units of the 'Center' grouping of troops reportedly completed the encirclement of a major Ukrainian defense hub in Dobropillya, Donetsk People's Republic, and are advancing towards Alexandrovka.

The encircled units include elements of the 4th and 15th National Guard brigades of Ukraine and the 425th 'Skala' assault regiment. The MoD stated that the elimination of the blocked enemy formations is underway.
