A fire broke out at the Ilsky oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Krai on September 26, reportedly after being hit by drones. The governor of Krasnodar Krai, Veniamin Kondratyev, confirmed that enterprises in the Seversky district, where the refinery is located, were hit.

The Ilsky NPZ is one of the largest private oil refining enterprises in the region, located in the village of Ilskaya, approximately 30 km from Krasnodar. The plant processes crude oil and produces diesel fuel, gasoline, fuel oil, and bitumen, with a design capacity of about 6.6 million tons of oil per year. It also supplies fuel to temporarily occupied territories in Ukraine and to military units of Russia's Southern Military District.
