Two Russian Railway (RZD) employees, charged in a case involving an alleged attempt to blow up a train, have reported experiencing torture during their detention. One employee stated he was forced to dig his own grave and threatened with execution, while the other reported a broken rib from beatings. The trial against eight individuals accused of supporting Vyacheslav Maltsev's 'Artpodgotovka' movement has begun at the 2nd Western District Military Court.

According to the prosecution, the defendants allegedly planned to detonate a train carrying products from the Orenburg defense plant 'Strela'. RZD employees Yuri Martynov and Alexey Demchenko, accused of providing internal company information to Maltsev, testified about the alleged torture. Martynov described being blindfolded, beaten with a stun gun, and threatened with death and harm to his family. Demchenko reported being beaten and threatened with a broken spine, later diagnosed with a fractured rib.
