A representative from Russia's state corporation Rostec stated that their new 'Dan-T' drone, which debuted at the El Alamein International Airshow in Egypt, blurs the line between drones and cruise missiles. The drone is equipped with a small jet engine, high cruising speed, and a range of several hundred kilometers, featuring a stealth mode for evading air defenses and operating on a 'fire-and-forget' principle.

The representative from Rostec stated that the 'Dan-T' drone is effectively a fully-fledged cruise missile due to its characteristics and that Rostec is developing other similar projects incorporating artificial intelligence. The drone has reportedly undergone testing as an aerial weapon and has demonstrated high effectiveness with hundreds of successful launches against enemy targets in the special military operation zone.
