A Russian strike on Kyiv on October 7 damaged the warehouse of the publishing house "Knyholav." The company cannot yet state the number of destroyed books, but "tens of thousands were certainly lost."
The same warehouse was previously attacked in July 2026, when the publishing house lost nearly 250,000 books.
