Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 10:52 AM

A Russian strike hit two passenger buses in Kramatorsk around 10 a.m., reportedly killing 30 people and wounding 18, according to the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office. The strike, likely using a UMPB D-30 SN glide bomb, also caused fires on both buses and an adjacent open area. In total, 33 people were killed and 18 wounded across the region, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported.

The head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, stated that these were not "consequences of war" but people killed by the Russian army.
