Russian servicemen reportedly practiced a pipeline crossing maneuver, similar to one used in the Sugdzhoy region, during the joint "Wolverine Path-2026" exercises with Sri Lanka. In March 2025, during the "Flow" operation, servicemen reportedly dug approximately 500 meters of trenches and tunnels, then proceeded to traverse nearly 15 kilometers inside a pipe over six days.

During the exercises, Sri Lankan military personnel reportedly studied Russian drones and electronic warfare systems. The exercises concluded with tank crews striking a simulated enemy, followed by joint assault groups engaging the target.
