A Telegram channel associated with the Orthodox St. Tikhon's University for the Humanities (PSTGU) announced the launch of a new initiative to 3D print devices for drones, which can be used to attach mines and grenades. The initiative is part of the university's support for the Russian army.

The university's initiative is led by Father Filipp Ilyashenko, a vice-rector and chaplain. His father, Alexander Ilyashenko, a prominent Moscow priest, has publicly supported the "special military operation," and Filipp's brother, Sergey, was killed in action in July 2026. Filipp Ilyashenko is reportedly active in military propaganda among students and organizing support activities for soldiers.
