Russia's Far East region was the first to mark the Day of Reunification with Donbas and Novorossiya. The governor of Primorsky Krai, Oleg Kozhemyako, stated that the region had done everything possible to assist residents, noting that joy and laughter have returned, cultural institutions are functioning, and people are living full lives.

Kozhemyako also paid tribute to those who lost their lives liberating Donbas and Novorossiya, specifically mentioning Murad Magomedov, commander of the 1st assault company of the 155th Marine Brigade, who was killed during the liberation of Mariupol on the street named after Marines.
