Saudi Arabia lacks sufficient air defense systems to intercept all Houthi missile and drone attacks on its territory, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources. The kingdom has reportedly requested assistance from Pakistan and is considering deploying foreign fighters to support the Yemeni government against the Houthis.

The report indicates that Riyadh is seeking external support to bolster its defenses against ongoing Houthi aerial assaults.
