The Saudi Arabian ambassador to Yemen, Mohammed al-Jaber, stated that the Houthi movement (Ansar Allah) has been completely driven out of areas near the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. No confirmation of this information has been received from the Houthis.

The Bab el-Mandeb Strait is a crucial maritime chokepoint connecting the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden, vital for global shipping and oil transit.
