Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) has detained a mobilized soldier from Poltavshchyna who allegedly returned to his unit after desertion to spy for Russian special services. The SBU reported that the individual transmitted coordinates of Ukrainian Armed Forces (ZSU) positions and equipment.

The detained soldier is accused of state treason. The SBU stated that he was tasked by Russian special services to gather intelligence on Ukrainian military positions and equipment after his return to his unit.
