SBU reports detention of two youths plotting to kill four Ukrainian soldiers on FSB orders

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) reported the detention of two young men, aged 18 and 19, in Zaporizhzhia who were allegedly preparing to kill four Ukrainian soldiers on orders from Russia's FSB. The soldiers were to be lured to a meeting via fake dating profiles, with one attacker tasked to kill a soldier with a knife while the other recorded the act for Russian intelligence.
The SBU claims the youths were recruited while seeking "easy money" on Telegram and had previously carried out a "test" task by setting fire to a Ukrainian defender's car before receiving the assassination orders. They were apprehended while searching for a location to set up an ambush, considering areas around the city and garage cooperatives.
