Six Dismemberment Murders Reported in Russia in Early October
A married man in Tolyatti reportedly killed his mistress and dismembered her body, marking the sixth such incident in Russia in the first days of October. Fragments of the 55-year-old victim's body were found in a garage on Komsomolskaya Street. According to Baza, the deceased was the lover of the garage owner, a 54-year-old local resident.
The victim's wife discovered the affair, leading to a domestic dispute. The husband allegedly lured the mistress for a final conversation, which resulted in her death. Investigators believe he strangled her, then dismembered the body and hid the parts in the garage. The suspect has been detained and confessed. Other similar cases include a businessman in Moscow suspected of murdering his lover and her daughter, and a deserter in Nizhny Novgorod who killed his girlfriend and her family.
