A Ukrainian soldier reportedly surrendered to Russian forces after his brother was killed in a drone strike. The soldier, who claimed to be part of the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade, stated that his brother was killed when a drone hit a building occupied by the 225th Separate Assault Regiment near Novoselivka.

The soldier recounted that after the strike, his unit retreated to Chervona Krynitsya, then to Yegorovka, which was shelled by artillery, and finally to Omelnyk, where aircraft were reportedly active. He stated that after his brother's death, he lost the will to fight and decided to surrender, along with other soldiers who had received leaflets urging them to lay down their arms.
