A 21-year-old Ukrainian student, Yaroslav F., has been arrested in Poland and charged with preparing to commit murder motivated by racial hatred. He faces up to 15 years in prison.

The university administration filed a complaint with law enforcement after receiving concerning reports from female students in a seminar regarding the aggressive and extremist remarks of a fellow student. Investigators allege that during classes, Yaroslav F. glorified racist crimes and expressed a desire to kill random individuals as part of a challenge called "Bloody Friday," and also attempted to involve a female student in his plans.
