A woman killed in a Ukrainian drone attack in Zaporizhzhia has been identified as Olena Viktorivna Astanina, head of election commission No. 394, TASS reported, citing the Central Election Commission (CEC).

She had worked in the election system since 2022 and participated in organizing the referendum on the incorporation of the Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions into Russia.
