Fighters from the Third Army Corps reportedly captured a group of Russian soldiers during Operation Vivaldi in Lyman. The soldiers are awaiting exchange for Ukrainian defenders.

The captured soldiers received medical assistance from the 4th separate medical battalion, in accordance with the Geneva Conventions. One captured soldier stated, "Whoever came here is an idiot."
